Do you like your public education?
Do you believe affordable education is a right for those who want it?
Do you believe students, citizens of NYS/Buffalo, and faculty ought to have a voice?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you ought to be against UB2020. This plan will:
* Raise tuition for all students
* Place more of the responsibility for our education on overworked adjunct professors and graduate students.
* Destroy public oversight of spending at UB and rob faculty of their voice in educational issues.
* Will only create minimum wage jobs for the people of Buffalo while destroying union jobs by contracting them out to private corporations.
* Give the UB administration the ability to sell public, state-owned land to private interests without any input from elected state or local officials.
If you are for public, affordable education, join us: it will be the first step in a larger student movement to get our voices heard and our seat at the table!
